The Samsung HLS6767W is a 67” Wide screen High Definition TV, having an aspect ratio of 16:9, a contrast ratio of 10000:1 and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, hence being able to support full 1080HD. It uses the DLP light engine, utilising the latest DLP chips from Texas Instruments, and supports the NTSC and the ATSC colour systems in a number of video modes: 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p_60. Like all Samsung HDTVs, the HLS6767W has a 3D comb filter, which improves transition detail drastically reduces edge image artifacts.
As most other Samsung HDTVs, the HLS6767W has a number of input connectors. In the back, it has 2 sets of 3RCA Component HD connectors, 2 sets of HDMI ports, a Co-Ax tuner port, an RGB PC port, 2 sets of 4 pin DIN S-Video ports and 2 sets of RCA composite input connectors. Apart from these, it has another 4 pin DIN S-Video port and an RCA Composite input connector in the side.
The Samsung HLS6767W uses Samsung’s own DNIe video technology, and Cinema Smooth 1080p Light engine.
It comes with a remote control that has controls for the TV, DVD, VCR and a tuner. Its approximate dimensions are 62.4″ x 19.8″ x 45.1″, and weighs approximately 110lbs.
