SXRD is not the only display technology to give a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels but it has the maximum pixel density and the minimum intra pixel density which gives the seamless look and even when watched from just a few inches away the grid called as the screen door effect cannot be seen.The Sony KDS-R50XBR1 produces the highest contrast levels which are further enhanced by the dynamic iris component. The contrast and black levels are the best from a rear projection TV. Black levels go very low without sacrificing the details in dark and shadowy areas. Colors are deep and saturated which gives the images a rich feel. Colors are produced from three separate image chips for red, green and blue and hence continuous color is provided.
